We’re a family of four from New York who believe that travel doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. With two curious girls (ages 6 and 9), we’re all about creating unforgettable memories, discovering new places together, and showing that family travel can be both realistic and rewarding.

For years, friends and family encouraged us to start a food or travel blog, and eventually, we decided to turn this long-time passion into something more. As we planned our own trips, we noticed a gap: so much travel content looked amazing, but it didn’t always reflect what real family travel actually looks like. We couldn’t always find the practical, honest information we needed for traveling with kids, so we decided to create it ourselves.

We’re not a family that travels full-time, and we don’t claim to have it all figured out. We balance full-time jobs we love with the joys (and chaos!) of parenting, and we plan trips the same way many families do: around school schedules, budgets, and everyday life. That’s exactly why Suitcase & Jet exists.

Our goal is to take some of the guesswork out of family travel and make planning easier — and more enjoyable.
